Leading up to the Oscars preview party at Sunny Side Up I wanted to take and let everyone know a little about some of the designers that will be competing for Best Design for Oscars 2013 Party in Chicago!
Nicole stumbling upon the fashion world was a sudden change in destiny. One she was her way to becoming a forensic scientist and then the next she was packing her bags to pursue her dreams of a fashion designer. She designs for women who are like herself: go getters, professional, socialites and adventurous.
Latonya has had a love for fashion ever since she can remember. From creating her baby doll clothing to designing her own quick outfits for teen parties. She designed and created her own wedding dress under supervision of her Aunt. She is basically a self taught designer/seamstress. She is far from afraid to incorporate bold colors, textures and textiles into her design techniques.
Sheila has been sewing since 8 years old, started making clothes for her Barbie dolls and paper dolls. At the age of 14 she worked with Sandi Haggard as an apprentice where she began learning her craft making custom bridal gowns. After attending International Academy of Design and Technology she now has her own business designing wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, Flower girl gowns, veils etc.
